AUTOGEN was founded in 2008 by frontman Kaspars Kalnins, otherwise known as Kaps. Highly recognized by people in the underground music circuit, Kaps is a prominent and revered player in the Latvian industrial scene both as an event organizer and musician. He is also an influential member of Rosewater, another established industrial electro band formed in 1998. Ever since 2008, AUTOGEN has been active in live stage performance and has played at numerous industrial and fetish clubs in Latvia, Finland, Belarus, Hungary, Denmark, Lithuania, Estonia and also Bangkok in March 2012. AUTOGEN’s shows often display gruesome theatrics of blood, gore and fetishism accompanied by their signature trance-inducing electronic soundscape compositions that exude an enthralling ritualistic atmosphere juxtaposing invocative sight and sound.

SINO RE-BUILD PROJECTS was bone as a solo project by SINO in 2000. Noisy distortion guitar gets on heavy and destructive programming sound. SINO took part in the U.S. label Hypervoxx Recordings' V.A.CD and IndustrialnatioN Magazine' V.A.CD. SINO has remixed for artists in U.S.,Italy and Australia and was given highly evaluation. SINO plays noize guitar and VJ-HAL and HIDE(Bass) perform as live members. SINO RE-BUILD PROJECTS sounds is powerful industrial and their stage performance is unique and amazing.
Resident DJ of Midnight★Mess and [OVERFUSED?] STATIK has DJed as DJ Kedamono at the legendary Los Angels Industrial club "DAS BUNKER"(US) before he moved to Japan. STATIK started DJing at Industrial club in Tokyo and became a pioneer in Japan spreading the new "Rhythmic Noise/ Power Industrial/Technoid"(テクノイド) sound coming from Germany and US. He Bludgeons audiences over the head with aggressive yet danceable tunes by manipulating Dark Electro and Rhythmic Noise sets.

Chuuu was born in Kyoto Japan 1975. His base is now in Berlin. Because of his environment of childhood he had a strong awareness of freedom,creation and making things by himself. He was good in his hands since he was a child,cutting his rubber-robots into pieces and put different pieces together and making a new robot,uncoil a small motor and extend it to make a faster motor,create a small light for playing games in the dark.Since his uncle was an artist he had many chances to see paintings and printings,spontaneously,he started to draw pictures and manga by himself.While majoring manga in Kyoto Seika University (the only university that has manga major in Japan) he bought a computer, learned himself how to use applications and studied design on his own. After graduation, he worked independently by designing and painting. 2003 moved to Berlin and now he is based in Berlin as an artist.
◆About his works Chuuu, the theme of his works are nostalgia-ism and reconstitution.In his paintings and drawings,influenced by Lautrec,Beardsly,Saul Bass,Japanese Ukiyoe and Leonardo da Vinci's sketches,he expresses nostalgia by using techniques such as scraping and scaling paints,use dry impasto material to make crack surface,dye 60 years old paper with tea and use flat touches and intentionally unshaded image.Adding modern elements of manga and anime on those,that is his work.Mostly the background image is blank to accentuate the line of the body or shape.He uses Acrylics,Gouache,Aquarelle,Ink,Colored pencil,Tea,Oil,Magazines and more. In his video works with the same theme,he made an animation system by using the technique zoetrope(invented by William Horner in 1834) and stroboscope,a turntable that DJ uses and a video camera combination." Turntable Animation" is the name of this animation system,he turns his 12 inch record shape hand-drawing,collage,printed works on a turntable.He has been performing this " Turntable Animation"performance in many different places.Above all,the loop animation of circularized notes is a video performance that is like spinning around the musical notation that has been originated in Europe from the 17th century and John Cage and Marcel Duchamp on a DJ turntable.

Control Freak is Tokyo-based music producer Matt Redding from England. His formative years were spent tearing up the fretboard as a metal guitarist, but when he discovered sampling he exchanged his axe for an Amiga. Inspired by his peers and electronic artists of the time and the expressive potential of the evolving new music tech, he began to experiment and search for the “new sound”. To his surprise, he found it on his bedroom floor, in between a Squarepusher CD and a worn out copy of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring.
Matt also is a co-founder of Laptop Battle Tokyo, a global music contest event for laptop musicians, which he brought to Japan with a hope to expose and promote undiscovered new music talent and to bring together Japanese and overseas artists. DAS ICH - biography
After many musical experiments, Stefan Ackermann (voices and lyrics) and Bruno Kramm (instruments, music) decided to form das ich in 1989. * In 1991, das ich released the maxi CD "Satanische Verse" and their debut album "Die Propheten" on Bruno Kramms own label, Danse Macabre. das ich skillfully mixed electronic, symphonic and early industrial elements into an explosive cocktail unprecedented in the often cliché ridden German music culture. das ich established itself with a fixed position in the scene and became the very epitome of experimental and electronic music. They are celebrated as the starting spark of a new genre of post wave, post Kraftwerk, post Neubauten era, and successfully led the way in the charts of the independent scene. Tours all over Europe strengthened the position of das ich, who quickly got a reputation for being "apocalyptic eccentrics", since their concerts appear to be evil and bone-jarring spectacles. * After the release of their maxi CD "Stigma" in 1993, das ich went off on an extended tour through all of Europe and the U.S., and in addition played at various festivals, for example the Peter Gabriel WOMAD in Hamburg, as well as at the Documenta in Kassel. * After that followed what up to now is their most compressed work as well as their least accessible, "staub". Its success underpined their precedence. Released right at Christmas time, "staub" was on the waiting list of the German Media Control Charts for 11 weeks. It took about 2 years to create this work, in which both the innovation that characterized their debut, and modern industrial-elements (comp. "das ich im ich" were amalgamated. Harsh noise-loops bedded into symphonic arrangements and combined thematically with the Holocaust of self-contempt in modern human society rendered "staub" a milestone for electronic music of the nineties. 8 tracks, which catapulted das ich to international significance and which carried on the importance of the German industrial-electro-scene. With "staub" das ich played a tour containing more than 60 shows whole over the world. “staub” was also released domestically in the USA on the Californian label Tess Records, ran by William Faith of Faith and the Muse, while “Die Propheten” was re-released on Black Orchid Records from Miami. * After the band recruited the drummer Chad Blinman on the U.S. tour, das ich grew into a genuine live band. In 1995 they putted the live album "Feuer" out on the market to question the term "canned music", which all electronic bands have to deal with sooner or later. * Immediately after that, a project done together with the famous metal band "Atrocity" was released. The album "Die Liebe" was a successful attention-getter for both bands and is still numbered among the first representatives of the successful metal/gothic crossover movement of the time. Until today, many of these crossover bands refer to this album as initial innovation and influence. * At the end of 1996 das ich begins the early work on their new album "egodram". * However, the work had to be interrupted for half a year in order to compose the soundtrack album "Das Innere Ich" for the underground movie "Das Ewige Licht". After a further successful tour in the U.S. in May of 1997 with the new drummer Jakob Lang, the work on "egodram" could finally begin again and be completed at the end of 1997. While all the previous releases appeared on the Danse Macabre label, das ich decided in the summer of 1997 to sign a worldwide recording contract with edel records for "egodram". * The first single "Kindgott" which was out taken from the new album was released in December 1997. * In February 1998 the successful "egodram" album and the second single "destillat" with a stunning videoclip, directed by the wellknown Qfilm company were released. * From March to April 1998 das ich toured Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In May they played the International Wave Gothik Treffen in Leipzig. * After touring for the first time Spain and Mexico they finished the work on their literal work in June, "Morgue" which features songs to the poems of the famous German expressionist writer "Gottfried Benn" in an extreme diversity which brought them also a fantastic feedback from cultural institutions whole over Europe. In November 98 das ich tour France and Germany again to present some of their new songs. * In 1999 it was time to celebrate ten years of 'das ich' with "re_laborat" and the big USA Totentanz Tour 99. This album was a successful hit on the dance floor. It offers various remixes from well-known bands like Deine Lakaien, Atrocity, VNV Nation, And One and many others. The smashing dance floor hit “destillat”, remixed by VNV Nation became a club hymn for the summer of 2000 worldwide. The dark romantic track “reanimat”, only available on a limited double CD was transferred to a videoclip, directed by Hans Helmut Häßler, with whom the band worked on “Das Ewige Licht” before. “re_laborat” was also brought to France on XIII Bis Records domestically, while their online archieves www.dasich.de found birth on the internet. * In February 2000, das ich released a Best Of Compilation in the USA: Rekapitulation 89-99 on NAM * In Summer to Autumn 2000 they played as headlining act again on the Wave Gotik Treffen Festival in Leipzig ,the “La Dour Open Air”, Belgium and Herbstnächte on Castle Rabenstein, while they grounded for another tour in the USA and Mexico. *In Spring Bruno Kramm released his soloalbum “Coeur” on SPV, which was a stunning piece of electronic-romantic-dance music. He and his band performed at the WGT in Leipzig *In 2002 das ich released their breathtaking new record “Anti´Christ” which hitted the German DAC , GDC, MCC at high positions. The album was released at Massacre/Sony and brought an extremely positive feedback from all magazines and clubs. The internetsite www.dasich.de was completely renewed and now hostes Videosteams and Audiocontent plus most reviews and interviews concerning the new record. In August, das ich performed at the Mera Luna festival and simply blowed the fully crowded hangar away, while hundreds were waiting outside. Danse Macabre released a limited eition VCD from the concert, called “momentum” *In 2003 “das ich” released a double CD box , Best Of called “relikt” with a 48 page booklet. They also toured again the USA and Russia for the first time with a tremendous effort and success. *In the middle of the burning summer 2004, das ich release their breathtaking new album, called LAVA which focuses on emotional issues. For the first time in the bands outspanning history, love, hate, greed and other human feelings struggle against the ratio, the understanding of the human being. It is the fight of the Freudian “Es” (it) against the moral “Ich” (Ego) In 2006 the great “Cabaret” was released. It is a theatrical play of its own. das ich realize a multicoloured revue that explode the normal timeframe of an album in musical terms. In fact it sounds like a modern version of Brecht/Weill plays. The dramatical structure of the “Cabaret” offers unique possibilities and perspectives of a role play. The album was released in a limited box including a DVD “Panopticum” and a remix CD called “Variete” in many countries again. First time das ich did a huge tour into Russia, that led the band to the frontiers of Asia in the east and Argentinia and Chile in the West.

cEvin Key BIO: Cevin Key is a founding member of Skinny Puppy, and many other projects including Tear Garden, Download, Doubting Thomas, Hilt and Plateau. He has over 25 years of experience in the music industry, and supporter of animal rights! Orignally from Vancouver, he now resides in LA where he runs Subconscious Studios/Subconscious Records. Cevin last toured as Skinny Puppy for the Mythrus Tour(2007), and IN SOLVENT SEE Tour(2009). Currently, he is busy working on several projects including new Skinny Puppy material.
Skinny Puppy BIO： founded in Vancouver Canada in 1983, now based in Los Angeles, band with members Cevin Key (keyboards, percussion) and Nivek Ogre (vocals). The band came together because of their desire to create experimental music and as a musical protest against animal abuse. Skinny Puppy's first release was Remission in 1984. Since that time, Both Cevin and Ogre have continued to work on Skinny Puppy as well as other projects including Download, ohGr, Tear Garden, Doubting Thomas and more. Rock / Mixture / Punk / Heaviness / Emo / Screamo / Metal / Hardcore etc... 7月4日（土）のVol.187は17周年記念第2弾として、COCOBAT、BAAL、CROSSFAITHの3バンドを迎え、ライヴ＆DJ形式で特別開催!! 1992年に当時フリーランスのジャーナリストとして活動していた有島博志がスタートさせたオールナイト・ロックDJイベント。洋楽中心ながらも決してジャンルやスタイルの枠に捉われず、オルタナティヴ/グランジからメロコアやヘヴィロック/ミクスチャー、そしてエモ/スクリーモにメタルコアなどなど、常に最先端のモダンなロック・サウンドを紹介し続け、当初このイベントのみで配布していたフリーペーパーが雑誌『GrindHouse Magazine』に発展と、音楽情報発信源としての確固たる人気を獲得。有島博志を筆頭とした各DJの個性豊かな選曲と躍動感のある爆音プレイで、ロック好きなら誰もが楽しむことのできるライヴにも似た独自空間を演出し、4月からは新たにラウンジでのDJもスタート。フロアで飛び跳ねた後はラウンジではまったり…なんて楽しみ方も可能だ。また、ステッカーなどの豊富な先着プレゼントに、サイン入りグッズ等レア・アイテム大放出のプレゼント大会もイベント最後に実施。毎月第1土曜深夜は、新たな音楽仲間との出会い、そして情報交換の場としても楽しめるGrindHouse Nightでロックに盛り上がろう!!

➤SKOLD VS KMFDM Tim Skold (SHOTGUN MESSIAH, KMFDM, MARILYN MANSON) and Sascha Konietzko (KMFDM) are collaborating on a new album/project called SKOLD VS KMFDM. The hard-hitting, fun and aggressive industrial rock album will feature 22 tracks and more than 70 minutes of quality mayhem. The songs tend to combine the technical guitar work and lyrical wordplay of SKOLD with the heavy beat electro formula of KMFDM. Neither a SKOLD album or simply KMFDM, it is said to be a wonderful combination of both entities.
➤Tim Skold Skold joined KMFDM in 1997 and appeared on the album "Symbols", writing and singing on the song "Anarchy", which became a hit in clubs and spawned subsequent remixes of the track done by Skold himself. His next album with KMFDM, "Adios", was released in 1999, with Skold taking a more prominent role in the band — not only as co-vocalist, co-writer, and bassist, but also as producer, engineer, and programmer alongside KMFDM's founder Sascha Konietzko. Due to turmoil within the band, Konietzko and Skold parted ways and disbanded KMFDM in 1999, re-starting as MDFMK the following year. They released just one album: "MDFMK" (2000, Universal Records). The band, with Lucia Cifarelli (formerly of DRILL), took on a more "futuristic" sound, which contained less of the four on the floor KMFDM was known for and added a mix of drum and bass, trance and Europop, primarily in a production style leaning towards "electronica." MDFMK featured all three members sharing vocal duties. Their song "Missing Time" was used in the animated movie "Heavy Metal 2000". A couple of years later the trio reformed KMFDM and released "Attak" before Skold left to join MARILYN MANSON.

+BIO+ “Rekonnekted Polyhedron Electro Music. 4-D Mode1 returns from silence after 23 years”. 4-D Mode1 is a one of the legendary Electro acts from the same era as YMO, Plastics, etc. in the 80’s Japanese Post-Techno Pop music scene.
Formed in 1982, based in the Kansai region in Japan; founded by Kenji Konishi(Vox, Electronics), Tadahiko Yokogawa(Vox, Violin, Bass, Electronics), Shinobu Narita(Vox, Guitar, Electronics),and Kazuya Nakagaki(Total direction).
They released their material by “ 7" Free flex disk” spread not only to record shops, but clubs, stationery shops, art galleries, New Wave boutiques, and many places in Japan. Their first self-produced material, “After Dinner Party” was released in 1983 through their own label, Ph Records.
A total of 7 give-away style discs were released with a pressing of 1000 each, released once every 3 months. This style of distribution was remarkable thing as breaking glass to a new system in the Japanese music scene.
In 1985 , they kept silent after releasing their last 12" album, “A Style Of Building”, via Telegraph Records , and each member went back to their own music field.
In 2006 , they released a digitally-remastered re-compilation of all their material, including some CD releases of their side projects , entitled “Die Rekonstruktion” via Bridge, along with reuniting for some live shows.
In Feb. 2008 , a brand new full album ”Rekonnekted“ is released, to follow up the album “Die Rekonstruktion”, and contains 13 tracks spread over 50 minutes. It comes with a folded special designed polygon sleeve case, with artwork by Gaku Amatsu.
The label describes it as ”A sound which, in the 80’s , was called 'mechanical-techno-music'; but the new album is not electronica , techno, ambient, or industrial music. We call this Polyhedron Electro Music with no other genre".

2007年1月欧州を活動の拠点とすべく,2006年に初の欧州ツアー(10ヶ国16本)を成功させた前身ユニット,EUTHANASIEから GOTHIKAに改名。andro(Vo)と#449(Key)の2人で新たなスタートを切ると同時にそれまでのデジタルロック的な要素を一切排除し,完全なるエレクトロニックミュージックを追求すべく徐々にサウンド的にも変化を遂げていく。改名直後の2007年4月には北欧ツアー(7ヶ国9本)を行い,8月にはドイツのM'era Lunaに並ぶオランダ最大のGothic/Industrial/Electroフェスティバル,SUMMER DARKNESSに出演。9月には初のフルアルバムとなる"120 Days of Sodom"をリリース,直後に3度目の欧州ツアー(13ヶ国16本)を行う。ツアーファイナルのベラルーシとロシアではドイツのDas Ichのオープニングアクトを努める。更に同年12月には4度目の欧州ツアーを行い,ドイツのDark Dance TreffenではFunker VogtやDioramaと競演する。2008年には世界最大のGothicフェスティバル,Wave Gotik Treffenに出演しヘッドライナーのDie Kruppsと同じメインステージで演奏,シーンの話題を集める。リトアニアのKunigunda Lunaria,オランダのSUMMER DARKNESSに2年連続出演した後,2008年10月,Das IchのBrunoが主催するレーベルDanse Macabre Recordsと契約直後にDas Ichとのカップリングツアーをロシア20都市で敢行。2009年5月,フランスの著名なダークエレクトロバンドTAMTRUMとのフランスツアーを機にドイツへ移住。その後セカンドアルバム制作中に各国でツアーを行いながら2009年夏にはイタリアのGothicフェスMoonlight Festivalへメインアクトとして出演，ヘッドライナーのSEX GANG CHILDRENと競演する。2009年10月には待望のセカンドアルバム"ZeitGeist"をDanse Macabre Recordsから発表。日本のバンドでありながらよりヨーロッパ色を強めたエレクトロサウンドスタイルは早くもシーンの注目を集め始めつつある。 2009年10月からロシアツアー(28都市)をスタート。11月下旬にはDas Ichと共に東京で来日公演を果たす。

Paul Mercer Profile: Paul Mercer is an Atlanta-based violinist and composer who has been playing for 25 years. As a member of the critically acclaimed neoclassical quintet, The Changelings , he has performed extensively around the country. He grew up playing for coins on the streets and later studied Hindustani music with Afghani Rebab maestro Rafi Akbar Zada. Originally known for his groundbreaking work with baroque pop quintet The Changelings, he has gone on to perform or record with DP3, The Ghosts Project, Moe Tucker (of the Velvet Underground), Zoe Keating, Faith And The Muse, Jill Tracy, Brass Knuckle Surfer and many others. In recent years he has scored a dozen films, including the internationally released Psychopathia Sexualis. His recent minimalist compositional work focuses on texture in sound, a sort of sonic surrealism inspired by the strikingly original voices of particular violins and violas.He has also finished recording an album of avant-garde compositions for small string ensembles called Ghosts. Performs at Anne Rice's annual party "The Queen of the Damned Ball".

Cevin Key is a founding member of Skinny Puppy, and many other projects including Tear Garden, Download, Doubting Thomas, Hilt and Plateau. He has over 25 years of experience in the music industry, and supporter of animal rights! Orignally from Vancouver, he now resides in LA where he runs Subconscious Studios. Cevin last toured as Skinny Puppy for the Mythrus Tour (2007), and The Greater Wrong of the Right (2004). Currently, he is busy working on several projects including new Skinny Puppy material.

Control Freak Profile:<◀ SINCE 2002 ▶> Control Freak Profile:
Control Freak is Tokyo-based music producer Matt Redding from England. His formative years were spent tearing up the fretboard as a metal guitarist, but when he discovered sampling he exchanged his axe for an Amiga. Inspired by his peers and electronic artists of the time and the expressive potential of the evolving new music tech, he began to experiment and search for the “new sound”. To his surprise, he found it on his bedroom floor, in between a Squarepusher CD and a worn out copy of Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring.
He has been heavily influenced by the music philosophy of John Cage, the virtuosity of Paganini, the severity of Stravinsky and the austerity of Bach. More direct musical influences come in the form of artists such as Amon Tobin, Sneaker Pimps, Squarepusher and more recently Vex’d and Shackleton. However, he is very fond of mixing seemingly disparate genres to discover new and unusual forms of musical expression, including flamenco, jazz, tap dance, african drumming, Indian and middle eastern music etc. His latest project “Raqs Gothique” is a music/dance collaboration with belly dancers Maki and Natsu, for which he has been treating Indian and middle eastern drumming and vocal music with an electronic glitch style production, coining the phrase ethniglitch. Control Freak’s music is free to download, released under the Creative Common’s license by the net-label Heavy 7 Productions.
Matt also is a co-founder of Laptop Battle Tokyo, a global music contest event for laptop musicians, which he brought to Japan with a hope to expose and promote undiscovered new music talent and to bring together Japanese and overseas artists. He continues to produce music and perform live in Tokyo.
