founded in Vancouver Canada in 1983, now based in Los Angeles, band with members Cevin Key (keyboards, percussion) and Nivek Ogre (vocals). The band came together because of their desire to create experimental music and as a musical protest against animal abuse. Skinny Puppy's first release was Remission in 1984. Since that time, Both Cevin and Ogre have continued to work on Skinny Puppy as well as other projects including Download, ohGr, Tear Garden, Doubting Thomas and more. Their latest tours were Mythrus Tour (2007), and The Greater Wrong of the Right (2004).
